Responsibilities
- Computer science, software development, or similar degrees
- Solid experience with Salesforce development 3+ years of experience required
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Salesforce Flows, and Lightning Web Components
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns
- Familiarity with Salesforce standard objects (Case, Knowledge, Chat Transcript, etc.)
- Experience with Service Cloud features, including Live Agent
- Experience with Java/Kotlin and/or Node.js development
- Knowledge of HTTP, REST, ability to design and build API integrations
- Spoken English. It may require discussing client requirements or troubleshooting an issue
Nice to have:
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architecture) – highly valued
- Understanding of Salesforce Einstein platform capabilities and AI integration
- Experience with translation/localization workflows
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and microservices architecture

About the team:
- The team has 8 developers and a PM.
- Expected workload full time.
- We will help with the initial setup and domain knowledge.
- Our team manages tens of Kotlin services and helps clients integrate their Salesforce instances with the Smartling platform to enable seamless multilingual customer experiences.

Tasks overview:
- Architect, design, and implement Salesforce integrations with our translation management platform
- Develop Apex methods and custom flow actions to enable translation workflows
- Build UI extensions to enhance standard Salesforce interfaces with translation capabilities
- Create solutions for multilingual chat, case, and email translation within Salesforce
- Ensure API compatibility and maintain alignment with Salesforce best practices
- Contribute to Kotlin services development during available time
- Conduct architecture and code reviews
- Optimize integration performance and maintain security standards
