Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, high-performance UIs using React (Next.js) or Vue (Nuxt) with TypeScript.
  Implement design system components, responsive layouts, accessibility (WCAGAA), and robust state management.
• Optimize performance through bundle splitting, hydration strategies, efficient image/CDN usage, and adherence to Core Web Vitals standards.
• Write and maintain automated tests with Jest/Vitest, Testing Library, and Playwright/Cypress, ensuring reliable releases via CI pipelines.
• Collaborate on API integrations, contributing to API contract design, data handling, and error management best practices.
• Monitor and enhance UX quality using Sentry, RUM, and Lighthouse CI; run experiments and A/B tests to drive continuous improvements based on real user insights.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in modern frontend development, with expert-level TypeScript and hands-on production work using React & Vue.
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and testing best practices.
• Familiarity with SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js / Nuxt), Vite or Webpack, and design systems.
• Ability to read backend code and debug API integrations; basic knowledge of DevOps is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, with clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.
