DevOps / Local IT Lead

Responsibilities

• Run Level-1/2 support: onboarding/offboarding, laptops/MDM, SSO, WiFi/network, printers, meeting rooms, SaaS access in coordination with Corporate IT.
• Operate and improve cloud infra (AWS/GCP): CI/CD, containerization (Docker, ECS/Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), secrets, backups.
• Own observability: metrics/logs/tracing (CloudWatch/Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry), uptime checks, runbooks, on-call rotation.
• Triage incidents in NA time zones; drive post-mortems and preventative actions.
• Partner with Security on endpoint hygiene, patching, least-privilege, and asset
• inventory.
• Automate repetitive ops (n8n/Make, shell/Python); publish weekly health dashboards and reduce ticket volume.
• Serve as local tech lead: stand-ups, vendor coordination, office IT budget inputs, and MX site reliability cadence.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 5+ years in DevOps/ITOps/SRE; experience running office IT in startup settings plus cloud workloads.
• Proficiency with AWS/GCP, Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/GitLab), Terraform, Linux.
• Strong monitoring/alerting fundamentals; incident response and post-mortem culture.
• Solid scripting (Bash/Python); automation tools (n8n/Make/Zapier) a plus.
• Hands-on with MDM (Jamf, Intune), SSO (Okta/Google), and networking basics.
• Excellent English & Spanish; clear communicator, service mindset, bias to action.
